My parents Trip to Boston - Day #1

I have been very remiss this last week in posting anything to the blog. But, I have a good excuse! My parents came all the way from WA State to visit us in Boston! We had such a blast and we did so many activities that by the time the evening was here and I would normally blog about the days adventures, I was just too dang tired!!!

So, in my next couple of posts, I am going to post some of the pictures of our week long adventures. We accomplished a lot in 6 short days!

One of the best ways to see Boston is on one of the fun trolley tours! There is a trolley stop about a block from our apartment, so it is a fun and convenient way to get to see all of the sites! Marissa and Brynn joined us as we toured our way around Boston.

We got to see a lot of great sites like Boston Commons Park and Fenway Park.

This is a cool monument in Boston Commons Park.

We visited the Old Statehouse. This building was built before this land was even a country yet! Now it is run as a museum.

Old North Church~

There is a beautiful courtyard behind Old North Church that I like to walk through. It is a very peaceful part of the city.

Our next stop was the New State House. I think it is funny that it is called the New Statehouse since it was built in the 1800's!

Our last stop of the day was to see The Paul Revere House museum. It was interesting to see how small the house was considering that Paul Revere had 11 children that lived past infancy.

Wow, you guys have been busy! That must have been such a fun trip for your parents. I wish you guys were still going to be up there next year when we (hopefully) go to Cape Cod so you could give us the tour!
